You can eat a bowl of Shredded Wheat with milk for a healthy breakfast (or dinner), pop handfuls of cereal like Cotton Candy Cap’n Crunch as a treat or use a box of basic Chex to whip up a party mix.
General Mills is about to make snacking on cereal even simpler. ‘Remix’ snack mix is made with the sweetest cereal blends!
What’s in the Snack Mix?
Your favorite cereals, but with extra ingredients. The snack Remixes will launch with three different flavors: Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Chocolate Toast Crunch and Golden Grahams S’mores.
The Cinnamon Toast Crunch mix blends the namesake cereal with vanilla-flavored Chex and crunchy churros; the version featuring Chocolate Toast Crunch also uses vanilla-flavored Chex, plus the addition of caramel corn; the Golden Grahams S’mores style includes Cocoa Puffs and marshmallows so you know it’s s’mores!
The mixes come in resealable bags, so they stay fresh longer. No stale cereal here!
When Can I Buy a Bag?
According to Instagrammer @CandyHunting, who got their hands on a sample, the Remix bags will be widely available in “a few months.” They will likely be sold at most national retailers, aka anywhere that sells Cinnamon Toast Crunch, so we’re all in luck.
In the meantime, lovers of sweet-and-savory snack blends can get creative on their own with our snack mix recipes. If you have cereal, pretzels and nuts in your pantry, you have the foundation. Don’t forget the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnadust seasoning blend!
